About this book
This collection of six simple Norwegian-English bilingual short stories has been written for beginner learners (A1 level), using clear, accessible language and authentic Norwegian storytelling traditions to explore love, memory, loneliness, and connection.
From a woman discovering that a house can hold memories, to two strangers who communicate without speaking, to broken promises, forgiveness, dreams, and the shadows we carry inside ourselves, each story unfolds in a different emotional landscape. Everyday life becomes something slightly mysterious - sometimes tender, sometimes painful.
Designed for adult language learners, the stories repeat key vocabulary and use natural, simple sentence structures and grammar, helping readers build confidence in Norwegian. Full English translations are also included.
