De la Presentación del autor: "En el año 1935, Piero Calamandrei publicó la primera edición de su obra “Elogio dei giudici scritto da un avvocato”, que habría de ganarle gran y mayor fama y prestigio, de manera internacional. En el prólogo a la segunda edición, escribió Calamandrei que “… el autor ha creído oportuno agregar que ese elogio de los jueces lo ha escrito un abogado”. (...) Como autor del presente trabajo, cargo sobre mis espaldas con la agridulce experiencia de haber ejercido la profesión de abogado desde 1975, tanto en Argentina como en los Estados Unidos de América (desde 1986), y, aunque en distintos y descontinuados períodos, siempre desde el llano y en la primera línea de trinchera del abogado litigante, por la parte actora. Por tanto, creo estar en condiciones objetivas de presentar algunas conclusiones de lo que ha sido el trato con la magistratura, durante todos dichos años, que se extienden hasta el presente 2023".
