A BELGIAN ABROAD

A few months before the Russia-Ukraine war started, Patrick rode a motorcycle from Moscow to the Caucasus. Across the Cossack Plains to Mount Elbrus, where he swapped the motorcycle for a snow scooter. From the Orthodox-Christian Russia in the Moscow area to the Muslim South and finally to Sochi at the Black Sea coast. Before that trip he tested Covid19 rules in various European countries, causing Patrick to re-name the place 'Coronistan'. He also updated some of his earlier travel stories: Earthquake Italy, a wedding in New Zealand, riding with Vikings in Georgia, searching for Vultures in the Spanish Pyrenees, burning insence in Shanghai, sweating away in England's Lake District and enjoying high roads and tunnels in Switzerland.
