Produced by VoteLGBT, Care and Courage: LGBTphobic Political Violence in Brazil presents unprecedented data, intersectional analyses, and testimonies about the political violence of gender and race that affects LGBT+ leaders in Brazil. While exposing the severity of the attacks, silencing, and exclusion that shape these leaders' trajectories, the book also proposes ways to recognize care as a political technology and a democratic horizon.
