Marine Products Sector in India

Fisheries exports form a sizeable share for foreign exchange earning of the country. In order to improve the productivity, profitability and stability of seafood industry, there is need for the following revolutions, viz. Productivity revolution, Quality revolution, Value addition Revolution (ready to eat and ready to cook products etc) for both home and global trade. This book examines the growth and contribution of fish production and to analyse the exports of Marine Fish products in the economy of India and Kerala.
