Technology and Innovation Report 2025

Frontier technologies, in particular AI, bring about profound ramifications in the way the economy and societies work. This disruptive change, coupled with the accelerating pace at which new technologies emerge and the global dimension reached by their diffusion and effects, make policymakers struggle to navigate and design responsive Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) policies.
