Although medicinal plants attach a great importance in India where people belonged to different sections regard them as efficacious agents to combat many aliments, well-timed procurement of these material faces difficulty in many parts of the country as regular cultivation of them is not widely practiced. Relatively small-sized plantations may however, be set up by individuals or organizations for the purpose of meetings their own requirements as well as to those of the neighboring people. This apart , the title has also enlisted the principal medicinal properties associated with these plants.
