1ST LIEUTENANT GEOVALDO - Sentenced to 74 Years in Prison. Sent to one of the largest Maximum Security Penitentiaries in the State of Ceará (Penal Institute Paulo Sarasate - IPPS) for crimes against Public Security and social welfare. That was the dramatic path of Former Lieutenant PM Geovaldo, who rejected love and mercy, justice and truth, for 30 years, when he thought he was someone (Galatians 6:3). In prison it was 9 years and 11 months and 27 days, behind bars to understand that he was nobody (Romans 3:10). His hardness of heart was the altar that almost sentenced him to death if it were not for the immediate intervention of the Power of God that reached him in the prison captivity. Therefore, just one encounter with Jesus erased the transcript of guilt, pain and condemnation. This is a real life story lived by the 1st Lieutenant PM Geovaldo, yesterday sentenced to 74 years in prison; today, Pastor Geovaldo Barroso, a testimony of faith and life transformation, of the Power of God.
