With a teaching and research experience of more than 32 years, is currently working as Dean and Professor, Faculty of Pharmacy, Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences, Etawah, India. India. She is a member of various professional bodies. Actively engaged in research on oral controlled /modulated/targeted and topical drug delivery systems has over 270 publications in journals of international and national repute. Three patents, 4 books, 21 book chapters (in International books) and more than 180 abstracts of the papers presented in various scientific forums are to her credit. Credited as reviewer of national and international journals of repute in the field of Pharmaceutics, has a h-index of 42 (Scopus) and 53 (Google scholar). She has been enlisted in the top 2% Indian scientists in the subsection Pharmacology and Pharmacy, in a list released by Stanford University in 2020 and 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024. Tarun Virmani is currently serving as the Professor and Principal at the Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.
