Die Innovationsparadoxie der Sozialwirtschaft

Sozialunternehmen sehen sich in ihren Innovationsprozessen mit einer Paradoxie konfrontiert: Die ihnen eigene Vielfalt der Rationalitäten und Professionen kann einerseits eine Ressource für Innovationen sein. Zugleich kann sie jedoch auch Spannungen und Konflikte innerhalb der Organisation erzeugen, die eben diese Innovationsprozesse blockieren oder ausbremsen können. Sozialunternehmen müssen lernen, diese Paradoxie in ihren Innovationsbemühungen zu entfalten. Der Band schlägt zu diesem Zweck die analytischen Ebenen der Resonanz, des Diskurses und der Integration vor, auf denen Sozialunternehmen ihre Innovationsprozesse organisieren: Resonanz erzeugt notwendige Differenz, Diskurs erzeugt organisationale Legitimation, Integration erzeugt praxisrelevante Innovation.   Social enterprises find themselves facing a paradox within their innovation processes: their own range of rationalities and professions can, on the one hand, be a resource for innovation. At the same time, however, it can also create tensions and conflicts within the organisation, which can block or thwart these innovation processes. Social enterprises must learn to unfold this paradox in their innovation efforts. With that in mind, this volume proposes the analytical levels of response, discourse and integration on which social enterprises organise their innovation processes: response creates necessary difference, discourse generates organisational legitimation, and integration produces practical innovation.
