The leaders call it a beginning to an end. Hylenia, a world hidden from Earth's nations, is an island shrouded from human eyes. From the outside, it appears advanced and magical, but internally, our civilization is crumbling. My story begins in Mertamic, a small, rural town in Hylenia, where magic is a reality. Previously, I couldn't have described Hylenia to you. Sheltered from fate, I was unaware of an infamous prophecy that has been seeking me since my birth. I am angel-blooded. Like my kin, I could pass for human, but we possess something extraordinary in our veins, and I am no exception. The unfolding events might sound fantastical, but my life is no myth. A prophecy, known for generations, is now coming to life, and a looming war threatens all life on Earth. My journey truly began as I left Mertamic, accepting my destiny, though I was uncertain at the time. It marked the start of a chain of events leading to a meticulously planned battle that has astounded our kind. My name is Austin Bolden, the child of the prophecy known as the element bearer.
