Lisān al-ḥukkām fī maˁrifat al-aḥkām und Ġāyat al-marām fī tatimmat lisān al-ḥukkām

»Lisan al-?ukkam fi ma?rifat al-a?kam« ist das einzige Werk von Lisan ad-Din Abu' l-Walid A?mad b. aš-Ši?na al-?alabi al-?anafi, der im Jahre 862/1458 zum Oberkadi der ?anafiten in Aleppo ernannt wurde. In der Ausübung des Amtes schrieb er dieses Buch nieder. Es behandelt zwei Hauptthemen: Richterliche Urteile und die Rechte eines Menschen gegenüber seinen Mitmenschen. Er hatte 21 von geplanten 30 Kapiteln niedergeschrieben, als er im Alter von 38 Jahren infolge einer Pesterkrankung starb. Sein Buch gehört aufgrund der umfangreichen Rechtsquellen, der Strukturierung und der Vorgehensweise zu den praktischsten und beliebtesten unter den Fiqh-Büchern. Ein aleppinischer Gelehrter namens Burhan ad-Din Ibrahim al-?alifi al-?Adawi al-?alabi al-?anafi vervollständigte das Buch. Er benutzte bis zur Fertigstellung des Buches im Jahre 1015/1606 dieselben Rechtsquellen und folgte der ursprünglichen Strukturierung und Vorgehensweise. "Lisan al-?ukkam fi ma?rifat al-a?kam" is the only work by Lisan ad-Din Abu'l-Walid A?mad b. Aš-Ši?na al-?alabi al-?anafi, who was appointed to the Upper Kadi of the ?anafits in Aleppo in the year 862/1458. He wrote this book whilst exercising the duties of his office. This work deals with two main issues: judicial verdicts and the rights of a human compared to those of his fellow men. By the time he died from the plague at the age of 38, he had managed to write 21 of the 30 chapters that he had planned. His book is one of the most practical and popular among the Fiqh books due to its extensive legal sources, its structuring and the procedure it follows. An Aleppinian scholar by the name of Burhan ad-Din Ibrahim al-?alifi al-'Adawi al-?alabi al-?anafi went on to complete the book. He continued to use the same legal sources and follow the original structuring and procedure until the book was complete in 1015/1606.
