He completed his Post-Doctoral studies in Bio-Physics from University of Fukui, Japan under the prestigious WERC Fellowship. He did his Ph.D. in Pharmacy from Jadavpur University, Kolkata and he was also the Gold medallist from IIT-BHU during his PG studies. He has more than 40 publications of high repute to his credit and has authored three books with International and national publishers. He has 04 granted Indian patents to his credit in the field of herbal drug extraction technology. He has received several national level fellowships and awards such as Venus Outstanding Scientist Award. He has completed three government funded projects with cumulative worth more than 55 lakhs and is also the Nodal Officer of Entrepreneurship Cell of his home University. He has a teaching experience of more than 10 years in the field of pharmacy education. Popular lectures on patents and patenting are also available on the internet. Kavi Bhushan Singh Chouhan is currently working as a Senior Research Fellow for his Ph.D. Program at Department of Pharmacy, Guru Ghasidas Central University, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.
