The Black Heart Saga

Tal believes that he is trapped on the other side of the world, with no means of returning home. Taken prisoner by The Dark Elves, Tal has been forced into a life of slavery. The Elf Lord's cruelty is amplified by the hidden piece, as the jewel seeks to corrupt all those who come in contact with it. Captain Derrel Mendez believes that his brother still lives and desperately searches the endless jungle of Rainoa for Tal. Meanwhile, back in Sharr a sinister plot is being hatched that could plunge The Kingdom into civil war. Desperate to escape, Tal must come up with a plan that involves making his way through a jungle filled with deadly predators, all while evading his captors. His only friend, a dwarven slave, tells him that unarmed and alone he won't last a single day in the jungle, but Tal has other ideas. He is determined to regain his freedom.
