This book is for B.Sc. Semester-I students of all Indian universities. It provides a complete and systematic coverage of syllabus as per UGC model curriculum. The book is divided in two sections: Section-A, Inorganic Chemistry, which is further subdivided into two units covering the topics: Atomic structure, Chemical bonding and Molecular structure. Section-B, Organic Chemistry, which is further subdivided into three units, covering the topics: Fundamentals of organic chemistry, Stereochemistry and the Chemistry of aliphatic hydrocarbons. The book is written in question answer format which is completely examination oriented approach. This format helps students for quick learning and to retain the subject matter easily without compromising the understanding of the content.
