Garhwal (Central) University Srinagar (Garhwal), Uttarakhand for last 14 years.He has been awarded the prestigious “Research Award-2016” by UGC New Delhi and “Young Scientist Award-2007” by Uttarakhand Council of Science & Technology (UCOST), Govt. of Uttarakhand. He has been granted 8 research projects funded by DST, UGC, AICTE, DAE, BARC and Daiko foundation (Meijo University Nagoya Japan). He is one of the most widely cited researcher (h index 21) with 70 papers (36 International, 34 National) in various peer reviewed national and international journals of high impact. He has participated in various international & national conferences; presented his research work and published 64 (10 International, 54 National) Scientific Abstracts. He is peer reviewer for various pharmacy journals of Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, Informa, Springer and Bentham. He is member of editorial board of various national journals. He has also published a book entitled “Art of Writing and Publishing in Pharmaceutical Journals” (published by Pharma Book Syndicate, Hyderabad). He has 2 Indian patents (published) to his credit. He has been a visiting scientist for his post-doctoral research in Faculty of Pharmacy, Meijo University Nagoya, Japan in Year 2011-12. Mona Semalty, M. Pharm., MBA, Ph D is presently working as Assistant Professor (Pharmaceutics), in Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, H.N.B. Garhwal (Central) University Srinagar (Garhwal), Uttarakhand and has 14 years of academic and research experience. Her focus area of research is novel drug delivery by microparticulate systems and herbal drug delivery for diabetes and hair loss (alopecia). She has been granted 7 research projects by DST, UGC and AICTE and published 58 (29 International, 29 National) papers in various peer reviewed national and international journals of high impact (h index 21). She has participated in various conferences and published 61 (14 International, 47 National) Scientific Abstracts along with 2 Indian patents for effective herbal dosage forms for alopecia and obesity .She is peer reviewer for various pharmacy journals of Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, Informa, Springer and Bentham. She has also authored a book entitled “Art of Writing and Publishing in Pharmaceutical Journals” (published by Pharma Book Syndicate, Hyderabad). She is life member of IPA and APTI. M.S.M. Rawat, Prof. (Retd.) and Former Vice Chancellor, HNB Garhwal (Central) University Srinagar Garhwal, Ph D (IIT Delhi) has a very rich teaching and research experience of more than 44 years. He is an eminent scientist and academician known for his outstanding research work on natural products, drug delivery and medicinal plants. He has guided 42 Ph D and 2 D. Sc. students. He has completed 11 research projects funded by various funding agencies (UGC, AICTE, DBT, UCOST etc.). He has more than 200 papers in various national and international journals of repute. He is editor and peer reviewer of various national and international journals of repute. He has also presented his research work and delivered invited lectures in various national and international conferences. He has published two books. He established Pharmacy Department in Garhwal University, Uttarakhand.
